Monday Recs.

This week I'm recommending Alienated by Melissa Landers because 1. it's a great book 2. I love staring at the cover 3. a novella was released for this series a couple days ago and 4. it was the first thing that came to my mind (see third reason). Monday Recs. - 12/15/14

So over the weekend I read Spark of Light by Elizabeth Tuttle. I loved it so much it basically knocked out every single book I've read. It's definitely a very well written book.  The only downside is that book two isn't out yet and I need more Avery and Zander. I'm serious, check. it. out. 

Summary: Nearly a century ago the world was decimated by a magical war. In their defeat, elves were captured by humans, cut off from their magic, and broken down into lifeless, drone-like slaves.

Monday Recs. - 12/1/14

I know it's late! Oh well, this week I'm recommending Halo by Frankie Rose. I enjoyed this book and thought it was really unique and think plenty of people would enjoy it! I'm excited to read the second book for sure! Happy Reading.

Monday Recs. - 11/24/14

Whoohoo, I'm back and this week will be fun. I have a blog tour tomorrow and other stuff planned for the week and I really just have a lot of time on my hands that I plan on spending for writing posts and reviews cause I have a lot of those to write. So this week I'm recommending Stitching Snow by R.C. Lewis which I actually started and finished today but LOVED. I think I might even love it a bit more than the Lunar Chronicles...I'll need to do a reread of those books first...but I truly enjoy the book from start to finish and put in my top reads of the year. Monday Recs. - 10/27/14

Hey guys! I know I suck at posting lately and I hate excuses but I have two reasons: 1. I need a new prescription for my glasses. I've been having headaches because of this and electronics do not help headaches! and 2. I'm sick! Being sick also affects my mind's ability to stay on a computer and type up posts... 

Okay then, this week I'm recommending The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken. I really enjoyed this book and book two. I believe the third book is coming out soon so that is very exciting and means not waiting long in between books for those who do ever end up reading these books! Happy Reading!

Monday Recs. - 10/20/14

This week I'm recommending Take Me On (Pushing the Limits #4) by Katie McGarry. I love her writing and this book ties with her another of her books, Pushing the Limits, as being my favorite. I mean, seriously, Take Me On is absolute perfection. Just thinking about it makes me want to read it all over again. Have I mentioned I really love? Okay, well. I do... Happy Reading!

Monday Recs. - 10/13/14

This week I'm recommending Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins. I absolutely loved this book and series. One word - Kaidan. Seriously though, he's awesome. Sigh... So yepp! If you haven't read this series, be sure to check it out I was so glad I did. Then again, I tend to love any book I read, I'm not particularly picky with books! Happy Reading.

Monday Recs. - 10/6/14

Monday Recs. - 9/22/14

This week's Monday Recommendation is one I'm sure I've done before but it's been too long to remember if I have completely but it doesn't matter to me because when I love an author, you're going to here me talk about them a lot to the point you'll probably never want to hear another word about them :). You have been warned. Now the book is Feudlings by Wendy Knight. I seriously love her. Her books are awesome (I know that's vague) but also really clean and so much fun to read. And swoony, definitely swoony. Anyways, Happy Reading!

Monday Recs. - 9/15/14

Hey y'all! I know my blogging has been bleh last week and I didn't get to my Sunday post yesterday cause you'll never believe me - one of my siblings spilled water on the keyboard and made it die. Now we have a second one but a couple months back water was spilled on it too (by one of my siblings) and some of the keys don't work either but I figured I have to blog so I might as well do it with the less broken keyboard and let me tell you - IT IS HARD! I have to find the letters I need by coping and pasting them and it is very, very tedious. Anyways, this week I'm recommending Significance by Shelly Crane because I love this book and I love soul mates and I love this book again. This week I'm recommending Under Different Stars by Amy Bartol. First of all, I'm slightly obsessed with how pretty the cover is. I love underwater covers, they are always gorgeous! Monday Recs. - 7/1/14

This week I'm recommending the Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare just because I can and because this series is on my top series list. I just loved these books and want to cry whenever I think about the series. You'd understand if you've read the books. Or maybe you won't if you aren't a crier. My best friend isn't and I've only gotten her to cry once, just once, and that was for The Fault in Our Stars. Anyways remember crying is good in books and Happy Reading!

Monday Recs. - 8/25/14

This week I'm recommending Of Poseidon by Anna Banks. I've always liked a good mermaid tale and this one definitely did it for me. I've tried others but only a few have ever held my attention is this was one of them. Happy Reading.

Monday Recs. - 8/18/14

This week's Monday Recs. is a book not for the faint of heart. I actually just got the second book today and already finished it and it just reminded me of my love for these characters and their story. Monday Recs. - 8/11/14

This week's recommendation is a book called Need by Carrie Jones. I actually read the whole series last year but I still don't know what my end thoughts are on it. I didn't feel satisfied with it in the end. I mean I enjoyed the series but I wished things turned way differently. I guess you may be wondering why I'm recommending it if it wasn't a favorite...well the first book was my favorite and I really enjoyed that one! In the end book one is great and I totally made up an ending for the series that I love and accept even if the author didn't realize that was the way to go! Plus it makes for great discussions with friends over what the heck the author was thinking...Happy Reading!

Monday Recs. - 7/28/14

This week's Monday Recommendation is Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout. Now the only reason I'm recommending, cause I have already featured it, is that it is currently free for the first time ever and may never be free again. I mean I love this book and it's actually one of the first books that got me into reading, but I've already showed it so I don't want to show you guys things that have already been on here. It would get pretty boring. Am I making sense here? Well I hope I am. Happy Reading!

Summary: Starting over sucks.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something... unexpected happens.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades. 

If I don't kill him first, that is.

Monday Recs. - 7/21/14

On this week's Monday Recommendation is a book(/series) that is my favorite series ever (tied with a few other series). The book is called Half-Blood by Jennifer Armentrout who happens to be my favorite author if I had to pick one. I've been following and reading her books from when she first started just a couple years ago. Half-Blood was the first book I ever read from her and I have read it and the whole series at least six times. I love it so much! Hopefully y'all know the feeling of having a favorite book or series that you can just read over and over and never get tired of! Anyways I hope you do know the feeling and Happy Reading.

Summary: The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi—pure-bloods—have godlike powers. Children of Hematoi and mortals—well, not so much. Monday Recs. - 7/14/14

So this week's Monday Recommendation is going to be fun because I'm actually recommending two books that came out today and I haven't even read them yet but I plan to very very soon! The first book is Accidentally Married on Purpose by Rachel Harris (hopefully ya saw the release day launch post!) and the second one is Her Secret, His Surprise by Paula Altenburg. And the best thing is they are both .99! No matter where you get your books, it should all be the same price. Happy Reading!

Monday Recs. - 7/7/14

Okay so I know this is a day late I'm a bad blogger; family comes before blogging - for the most part, I don't have problems but sometimes I just can't blog... So on that wonderful note, this week's Monday Recommendation is Let the Sky Fall & Let the Storm Break (Let the Sky Fall #2) by Shannon Messenger.

Monday Recs. - 6/30/14

This week I'm recommending a series that anyone can read and I know adults who have read and enjoyed these books. The Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter is just the best. My favorite books are 2, 4, and 6...funny I just noticed that...that doesn't mean the other ones aren't good, those are just my favorite! They really just kept getting better and better with each book. And since all the books are out, you won't ever have to feel the frustration of waiting for the next book. I have very little patience when it comes to books, otherwise I'm good at waiting. Happy Reading!
