The Selection by Kiera Cass Review

This past week I also read The Selection by Kiera Cass. It is the first book in the trilogy with the second book already out.
I give it 5/5 tiaras. The story is about how when a prince is of age 35 girls are selected from around the kingdom to participate in The Selection where the prince (Prince Maxon) chooses one to be his wife.
In the society that America (the main character) lives there is a caste system - One's being at the top and Eight's being at the bottom. America is a five so her family is an artisict one where they paint and sing and play for a living. America has been dating Aspen for two years but he is six and I think when you marry you move into the guys caste..anyways Aspen asks America to put her name in the drawing for the selection because she could have a better life and the week before "winners" are announced Aspen breaks up with America because he loves her so much he wouldn't want to make move to a lower caste (sounds romantic yeah?!?) yeah well I wouldn't really like that but anyways America is chosen and starts to actually kinds like Prince Maxon and I adore him and totally think America should get over Aspen and go for Maxon cause he is awesome but then there is a plot twist and I'm like NOOOOO!! But before this the interaction between America and Maxon is so cute and America even makes a friend who I love as well(sorry forgot her name and am too lazy to go find my book and look it up!!) the plot is very well down and the characters are as well and the book is just great. The book does kinda end not abruptly per say but yeah it doesnt end with a huge conclusion but that's okay and understandable once you read the book...which you should if you haven't. It was a very enjoyable read and so go and enjoy it!!!
